Tutoring and Mentoring

 

LEARNS. The Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory and the Bank Street College of Education partner to provide training and technical assistance for literacy, tutoring and mentoring projects.

National Mentoring Center. Provided through a cooperative agreement between the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the National Mentoring Center offers resources, training and a listserv.

Mentoring. Mentors seeking support, adults interested in becoming mentors, community leaders wanting to become involved and staff managing a mentoring program will find resources to enhance their involvement in mentoring.

Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence—David and Molly Boren Mentoring Initiative. The mission of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is to recognize and encourage academic excellence in Oklahoma’s public schools. The David and Molly Boren Mentoring Initiative draws on the statewide resources of the Foundation to promote the establishment and growth of school-based mentoring programs in our state.
