Sheryl Lovelady
Executive Director
Sheryl has worked with OKAN over the past four years to help define policy goals and "make the case" for afterschool in Oklahoma through strategic communications. With a background in the political and government sectors, she served on executive staffs at the Oklahoma State Senate and was Executive Director of a statewide legislative caucus organization. She served as Director of Communications for the City of Tulsa and has also worked throughout the United States as a strategist with a Washington DC and Florida-based public opinion research firm.

She is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa and the US Department of Defense leadership program. She is the Chair of OUR Oklahoma, a statewide diversity initiative and serves as President of the Gordon Cooper Technical Center Foundation. She serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations including: the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation, Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma, and the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum.
Sheryl is also a political analyst and frequent guest for OETA TV. Her undergraduate degree and graduate work is from the University of Oklahoma.

Cedric Currin-Moore
STEM Project Coordinator
Cedric graduated from Sterling College with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. While in college, Cedric played football, ran track and worked with children from the community. After graduation, he worked for 14 years as a professional educator; teaching, tutoring and coaching children of all ages. Cedric has also worked as an Elementary Education Consultant for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center's Future Health Scientist Partnership Program.

As the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Project Coordinator for the Oklahoma Afterschool Network, Cedric is able to combine three of his passions: the STEM field, networking with new people and being an ambassador for the youth. He has witnessed the positive impacts that afterschool programs can have on the social and academic lives of young people. Cedric is elated to be part of the OKAN team!

Peju Faboro, M.H.R.
Quality Project Coordinator
Peju graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. During her time in undergraduate, she was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and participated in professional development programs like INROADS, a nonprofit that develops and places talented underserved youth in business and industry, and prepare them for corporate and community leadership. After graduation Peju got professional experience in organizational leadership with Target Corporation and youth outreach with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma. Recently, she obtained her Master's degree at the University of Oklahoma in Human Relations where she also served as a Graduate Assistant for the department of Human Relations and completed her thesis on the effectiveness of community learning centers for youth. Throughout the duration of her Master’s program, she worked at a therapeutic agency delivering a preventative youth program that bolstered positive character development.
Now with the Oklahoma Afterschool Network, Peju is fulfilling her passion to uplift our youth population by serving as the Quality Project Coordinator. In her role she promotes quality standards, program improvement strategies, and builds support for expanding and sustaining quality afterschool programs. This is a continuation of her personal mission in life and she is energized about serving our youth and being a part of the OKAN team!

Travis Humphrey
Healthy Out of School Time Manager
Travis works with with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation to coordinate the Alliance's Healthy Out-of-School Time initiative. The initiative provides out-of-school time sites with a science-based framework that helps programs create environments where youth are encouraged to eat healthier and move more.
Travis works with providers, such as afterschool programs, community centers, summer camps, faith-based organizations and other out-of-school time settings, to support the healthy development of Oklahoma City's young people. The Oklahoma Afterschool Network is excited to support to work of the Healthy Out-of-School Time initiative!
