Marissa Stays Afterschool

This week I traveled to South Oklahoma City to hang out with the JETS Crew! We enjoyed healthy snacks, played reading games, and read stories! JETS, a faith-based afterschool program offered by Skyline Urban Ministry, was created with the vision of offering safe and alternative activities to school-aged inner-city students.  Using a five year comprehensive curriculum that focuses on life-skills and positive choices, JETS aims to create well rounded individuals and equip them with skills necessary to make positive choices. To learn more about my trip click here!
